I find it kind of amazing (slash ridiculous) that I've lived in #DC for so damn long and have become almost immune to the statues and monuments I pass by everyday. (I mean, in my defense, THERE ARE 500! 500 OUTDOOR SCULPTURES!) I walk my dog multiple times a day to Scott Circle and realized this morning I'm more familiar with the patches of grass that Rosie likes to er, "go" on, than anything about this memorial. So of course I did some googling 😁 (ok fine, I'm procrastinating) and discovered the Hahnemann Monument pays homage to Dr. Samuel Hahnemann who invented homeopathy, and was a gift from the American Institute of Homeopathy. A traditional monument to celebrate the decidedly untraditional. A bit bizarre, but fun fact right? YOU'RE WELCOME INSTAGRAM. (Back to work, Kals.) by kalsoom82
