Artists Krista Caballero and Frank Ekeberg have spent the past several months researching the migratory patterns of birds native to the D.C. region for Birding the Future, an ongoing collaborative work that will be featured in our show (opening is May 14-15! So excited!) This installation will invite visitors to listen to endangered and extinct bird calls and to view visionary avian landscapes through a set of stereoscopic cards.
